How do I connect my Oura ring or Fitbit, and which devices work?

Well Lived can read your sleep, recovery, heart rate, steps and weight from an Oura ring or a Fitbit or Pixel Watch, and show them on Body. It only ever reads; it never changes anything in your account with them.

Connect a device

  1. Go to Settings → Health sources.
  2. Press Connect Oura or Connect Fitbit / Pixel Watch.
  3. Sign in with that company and allow access to everything it asks for.
  4. You land back on Health sources, which pulls in up to the last 90 days straight away.

What comes in

  • Oura: sleep (score, stages and bedtimes), readiness, activity, stress, blood oxygen, heart rate and HRV, and workouts the ring detected.
  • Fitbit or Pixel Watch: heart rate, resting heart rate, steps, calories and exercise sessions. Sleep comes in if you wear it at night.
  • Smart scales: weigh-ins come in through your Fitbit / Google account. There's no direct connection to a scale.

With both connected, Body lets you switch between Both, Oura and Fitbit / Pixel Watch.

How often it updates

Opening Body refreshes your data in the background when it's been more than an hour, and the new numbers show on your next visit. Sync now in Settings → Health sources fetches them right away. Each sync also re-reads the last two days, because Oura often revises recent nights.

Questions

What happens to my data from the device? It's only read and shown to you. It's never sold or used for ads, and your ring and watch data are never sent to an AI model.

How do I disconnect? Press Disconnect in Settings → Health sources. Syncing stops and Well Lived's access is removed. What was already synced stays.

It says "Not available yet". That connection isn't switched on for Well Lived yet. It will show a Connect button once it is.
