My ring data isn't showing up. What should I check?
Most of the time, a missing night just hasn't synced yet. Here's how to check and fix it.
1. Open Body
Opening Body refreshes your data in the background when it's been more than an hour since the last sync. You'll see Refreshing Oura in the background, and the new numbers show the next time you open the page.
2. Press Sync now
Go to Settings → Health sources. Each device shows when it last synced. Press Sync now to fetch your data right away.
3. Reconnect if it asks
If access has expired or was turned off on the device's side, Health sources shows a Reconnect button. Reconnecting doesn't lose anything that's already synced. If that doesn't help, press Disconnect, then connect again.
Messages you might see
- The connection has expired. Disconnect and connect again.
- We didn't get permission for everything. Connect again and allow every option the sign-in asks for.
- Asked us to slow down. The device's company limits how often it can be read. Wait a little and try again.
- A sync is already running. Give it a minute.
Questions
Last night looks different from what my ring app showed this morning. Oura revises recent nights, so Well Lived re-reads the last two days on every sync. The numbers settle within a day.
Body says no wearable is connected. Connect one first: see How do I connect my Oura ring or Fitbit?
Does it sync while Well Lived is closed? No. It syncs when you open Body or press Sync now.
