How do I rename or retire a project or activity?

Your projects and activities change as your life does. You can rename them or put them away without losing any history.

Rename

Go to Settings → Projects or Settings → Activities.
Tap the one you want and change its Name, then Save.

Every past entry shows the new name right away, because entries point at the project or activity itself, not at its name.

Retire

Open it and press Archive. It leaves the Log form, but all its time stays in your reports. To bring it back, turn on Show archived and press Restore.

Questions

Can I merge two projects or activities into one? Not yet. Archive the one you no longer want, and edit any past entries you'd like moved, one at a time.

Can I delete a project or activity? No, only archive it. That keeps your past entries and reports whole.

Can I make a new project from the Log? No. Add it with + Add in Settings → Projects or Settings → Activities, then it appears on the Log form.
