Who can see my data, and how do I keep Intimacy more private?
Your entries are yours. No page in Well Lived shows them to anyone else, and each account's data is kept apart by the database itself. For how your data is stored and handled, see the privacy policy.
Inside your own account
By default, entries for your Intimacy activity are treated like any other entry. They're named on Home, Time spent and Body, and their notes are read by the AI drafts and readings (the evening draft, dream readings, Describe it and the People check-in drafts).
If you'd rather they weren't, go to Settings → Profile → Privacy and turn on Keep intimacy private. (The label uses your activity's own name.) Then:
- On Home, Time spent and Body, those entries show only as their time or project.
- Their notes, and who you were with, stay out of every AI draft and the API.
- The activity is left out of rankings and charts.
The entries themselves, and your Intimacy report, don't change.
Your wearable data
Data from your Oura ring, Fitbit or Pixel Watch is shown to you and never sent to an AI model.
Questions
Can I take my data with me, or delete it? Yes. See Your data.
Does hiding the Intimacy page make it private? No. Hiding a page only takes it out of your menus. Use Keep intimacy private for that.
